Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OTI-1100 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of Chromodomain Helicase DNA Binding Protein 1 Like (CHD1L), also known as ALC1. Developed by Onconaut Therapeutics, the drug targets the chromatin remodeling activity of CHD1L, which is frequently amplified or overexpressed in various malignancies, including hepatocellular carcinoma and other solid tumors. CHD1L plays a pivotal role in DNA repair pathways and maintaining genomic integrity; its inhibition is intended to trigger apoptosis in cancer cells that are dependent on its activity, representing a targeted approach to treating high-dependency tumors.
