Overview

OTI-600 is a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor of Chromodomain Helicase DNA Binding Protein 1 Like (CHD1L), also known as ALC1 (Amplified in Liver Cancer 1). Developed by Onconaut Therapeutics, OTI-600 is designed to target the oncogenic activity of CHD1L, a chromatin remodeling enzyme that is frequently amplified or overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors, including colorectal and breast cancers. By inhibiting CHD1L, the drug disrupts essential DNA repair mechanisms and transcriptional programs that cancer cells rely on for survival and proliferation. OTI-600 is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development, aimed at treating patients with CHD1L-driven malignancies.
