Overview

**Otodolor** is an Austrian pharmacy-only, non-prescription homeopathic otic combination product supplied as ear drops. It contains homeopathic dilutions of *Capsicum annuum*, *Matricaria recutita*, *Pulsatilla pratensis*, *Acidum silicicum*, and *Acidum boricum* in a glycerol-ethanol vehicle. It is indicated for symptomatic decongestion and pain relief in disorders of the external auditory canal, including irritation, redness, and eczematous crusting. A completed prospective non-interventional study evaluated Otodolor and Otodolor forte for topical treatment of acute or chronic otitis externa. The approved use and claimed effects are based on homeopathic experience rather than an established target-specific pharmacologic mechanism.
