OTR-010

OTR-010 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by OTR Therapeutics in collaboration with Zealand Pharma for the treatment of obesity and cardiometabolic diseases. The program utilizes OTR's proprietary ReGeneraTing Agent (RGTA) technology, which consists of synthetic heparan sulfate mimetics. These engineered polymers are designed to mimic the natural scaffolding of the extracellular matrix (ECM), binding to and protecting endogenous signaling proteins, such as growth factors and cytokines, from proteolytic degradation. By stabilizing the ECM and protecting these signaling molecules, OTR-010 aims to modulate metabolic pathways and promote tissue homeostasis. The partnership combines OTR's matrix-stabilizing platform with Zealand Pharma's expertise in peptide-based metabolic medicines.
