Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OTS-102 is an HLA-A*24:02-restricted peptide vaccine that targets Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 (VEGFR2), also known as KDR. Developed by OncoTherapy Science, the vaccine is designed to stimulate the production of specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) that recognize and destroy VEGFR2-expressing endothelial cells in the tumor neovasculature. This mechanism aims to inhibit tumor angiogenesis and suppress tumor growth. OTS-102 is primarily being investigated for the treatment of progressive vestibular schwannoma in patients with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2)-related schwannomatosis, often in combination with OCV-101, a VEGFR1-targeting peptide vaccine.
