OTSGC-A24 is a peptide-based cancer vaccine developed for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer, specifically in patients with the HLA-A*24:02 haplotype. It is a cocktail of peptides that target five tumor-specific antigens—FOXM1, DEPDC1, KIF20A, URLC10, and VEGFR1. The vaccine works by inducing cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses against these antigens presented on tumor cells, thereby promoting immune-mediated tumor cell killing. Preclinical studies demonstrated that both siRNA-mediated downregulation and active vaccination targeting these molecules led to tumor regression. Clinical trials have shown that OTSGC-A24 is well tolerated and capable of inducing significant CTL responses in patients[1][4][5]. The drug is administered subcutaneously at a recommended dose of 1 mg per injection[5]. Development has included combination studies with other immunotherapeutic agents such as nivolumab and ipilimumab[6].
