Overview

OTX-001 is a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor being developed by OncoBone Therapeutics for the treatment of bone-predominant triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and other bone-metastasizing malignancies. Currently in the preclinical stage, the drug is designed to target the unique microenvironment of bone metastases. While the specific molecular target has not been publicly disclosed, the asset is part of a pipeline focused on addressing the high unmet need in patients where cancer has spread to the skeletal system. Proof-of-concept studies are pending, with out-licensing for clinical development estimated for 2027.
