Overview

Ovarimedin is a multi-ingredient nutraceutical developed by NutriMed Group, designed to support and normalize the functional state of the female reproductive system. The formulation is composed of standardized herbal extracts, including *Vitex agnus-castus* (chasteberry), *Cimicifuga racemosa* (black cohosh), and *Dioscorea villosa* (wild yam). These components work synergistically to modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis. Specifically, *Vitex agnus-castus* acts as a dopaminergic agonist to inhibit the secretion of prolactin, while *Cimicifuga racemosa* provides selective estrogen receptor modulation. Ovarimedin is primarily indicated for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hyperprolactinemia, and menstrual cycle irregularities, aiming to restore hormonal balance and improve ovarian function.
