**Ovatodiolide** is a small molecule phytochemical isolated from *Anisomeles indica*. It is under investigation for its anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and antibacterial activity. Mechanistically, it inhibits key oncogenic signaling pathways including YAP1, NF-κB, Kras/MEK/ERK, mTOR, β-catenin, Notch1, and STAT3, and affects tumor microenvironment modifiers such as IL-6 and TGF-β1. Ovatodiolide suppresses cancer stem cell self-renewal and migration, and has been shown to reduce exosomal oncomiRs like miR-1246. In antibacterial settings, it targets the ribosomal protein RpsB, interfering with bacterial protein synthesis[1][3][4][7][14]. It is being evaluated for atopic dermatitis and experimental and preclinical models of colon cancer, endometrial cancer, and liver inflammation, with additional investigation in bacterial infections, including *Helicobacter pylori*[1][3][4][7][10][13][14].
