Overview

OVI-586 is a preclinical, first-in-class **modified recombinant human Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH)** being developed to extend ovarian function and enhance women’s healthspan by preserving the ovarian reserve and modulating early folliculogenesis.[1][5][12][13] By acting at the earliest stages of follicle development via AMH signaling, OVI-586 is designed to reduce depletion of the primordial follicle pool, thereby improving ovarian response in assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF and potentially delaying menopause, with broader applications envisioned in contraception and endocrine health during aging.[1][2][5][12] Originated by Oviva Therapeutics and now being advanced by Granata Bio, the program represents a novel, mechanism-based biologic approach to ovarian aging, diminished ovarian reserve, premature ovarian insufficiency, and related fertility indications.[1][5][7][9][13]
