Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OVT-201 is an off-the-shelf, non-MHC-dependent T-cell engager being developed by OverT Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic utilizes a naturally occurring, broadly cancer-reactive gamma delta (γδ) T-cell receptor (TCR) to recognize a novel, non-MHC-dependent protein antigen on tumor cells. OverT Bio employs genetic programming to optimize the binder configuration of the engager. As of 2026, OVT-201 is in the preclinical discovery stage, with candidate nomination anticipated in the first half of 2027.
