Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OVV-02 is a CD19-directed oncolytic vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) being developed by Joint Biosciences for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic is designed to selectively infect and lyse tumor cells that express CD19, while simultaneously inducing a systemic antitumor immune response. By targeting CD19, a well-validated antigen in hematological malignancies, OVV-02 aims to extend the utility of CD19-targeted therapies to solid tumor indications. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
