OVX836 + Afluria Quad

**OVX836 + Afluria Quad** is a combination vaccine product consisting of OVX836, a recombinant nucleoprotein-based broad-spectrum influenza vaccine candidate, and Afluria Quad, a quadrivalent inactivated seasonal influenza vaccine. OVX836 targets the highly conserved internal antigen nucleoprotein (NP) of influenza A—distinct from surface antigens—resulting in robust cell-mediated (T cell) and humoral immune responses, aiming for universal coverage across drifted and mismatched strains[2][3][5]. Afluria Quad contains hemagglutinin antigens for four seasonal influenza strains, eliciting neutralizing antibody responses. When administered in combination, OVX836 + Afluria Quad leverages complementary immunological mechanisms: HA antibodies neutralize the virus, while NP-specific cellular responses destroy infected cells. Clinical studies have shown the combination is well tolerated, induces complementary and synergistic immune responses (without immune interference), and is being developed for improved population-level protection against influenza, particularly in years of strain mismatch[3][4][5]. OVX836 is developed using Osivax's oligoDOM proprietary nanoparticle self-assembly technology and combined with the standard-dose quadrivalent Afluria Quad.
