oxaliplatin + rituximab

Oxaliplatin + rituximab is a combination regimen consisting of two distinct agents used primarily in oncology. Oxaliplatin is a third-generation platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that forms DNA crosslinks, inhibiting DNA replication and transcription, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. Rituximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting the CD20 antigen on B lymphocytes, resulting in cell lysis through complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. This combination may be considered for certain hematological malignancies or solid tumors where both agents are indicated, though it is not an established fixed-dose combination product.
