This is a four-drug combination regimen consisting of oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil, bevacizumab, and toripalimab. - **Oxaliplatin** is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that forms DNA crosslinks and inhibits DNA synthesis, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. - **5-Fluorouracil (5-FU)** is an antimetabolite that inhibits thymidylate synthase, disrupting DNA synthesis and function. - **Bevacizumab** is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis required for tumor growth. - **Toripalimab** is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody against programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance T-cell mediated anti-tumor responses. This combination brings together cytotoxic chemotherapy (oxaliplatin and 5-FU), antiangiogenic therapy (bevacizumab), and immunotherapy (toripalimab). It has been studied in various combinations for advanced solid tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma and cervical cancer[1][3][4]. The addition of toripalimab aims to further stimulate the immune system’s ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells.
