Traumacel is a sterile, absorbable hemostatic agent composed of oxidized cellulose, specifically the calcium salt of plant-derived polysaccharides. It is utilized in various surgical and outpatient settings to control capillary, venous, and small arterial bleeding, particularly when conventional hemostatic methods are insufficient. The product line includes multiple formulations such as Traumacel PULVIS (powder), Traumacel FAM (nonwoven fabric), and Traumacel TAF (net), allowing for application in classical, robotic, and endoscopic surgeries.
