Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Oxifit 2K-7 (also referred to as Oxifit K2-7) is a fixed-dose combination softgel capsule developed and manufactured by Boffin Biotech. It is formulated as a nutritional supplement to support bone health, joint integrity, and peripheral nerve function, particularly in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and peripheral neuropathy. The combination contains five active ingredients: calcitriol (the active form of vitamin D3), calcium carbonate, vitamin K2-7 (menaquinone-7), methylcobalamin (the active coenzyme form of vitamin B12), and folic acid. Calcitriol and calcium carbonate work synergistically to promote calcium absorption and maintain bone mineral density. Vitamin K2-7 acts as a cofactor for the gamma-carboxylation of osteocalcin and matrix Gla protein, directing calcium to the bones and preventing vascular calcification. Methylcobalamin and folic acid support nerve regeneration, myelin sheath formation, and homocysteine metabolism, helping to alleviate neuropathic pain and improve neuronal function.
