Oxybutynin + tamsulosin is a **combination of two small molecule drugs** used primarily for the management of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in men, especially those with both storage and voiding symptoms often associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). **Oxybutynin** is a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist that reduces involuntary bladder muscle contractions, thereby improving symptoms of overactive bladder such as urgency and incontinence. **Tamsulosin** is a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist that relaxes smooth muscle in the prostate and the bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.
