Oxycelanim

**Oxycelanim** is a Belarusian bioresorbable medicated wound dressing supplied as a knitted cellulose wipe for topical and implantation use. It consists of oxidized cellulose containing immobilized **gentamicin** and the synthetic immunomodulatory peptide **thymogen**. Oxidized cellulose provides local hemostatic activity, while gentamicin supplies prolonged local aminoglycoside antibacterial activity through inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis and thymogen is intended to stimulate cellular and humoral immune responses. It is indicated for purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin, soft tissues, and mucous membranes, including infected wounds, trophic ulcers, furuncles, abscesses, carbuncles, paraproctitis, thermal burns, phlegmons, hidradenitis, and lymphadenitis, and may be implanted to help prevent postoperative purulent-septic complications.
