Overview
Oxycodone + Rotundine (brand name: Luotongding) is an oral combination small-molecule drug developed by Beijing Fourth Ring Pharmaceutical Technology. It combines oxycodone, a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic that acts as a mu- and kappa-opioid receptor agonist, with rotundine (l-tetrahydropalmatine), a natural alkaloid derived from *Corydalis yanhusuo* that acts as a dopamine receptor blocker with analgesic and sedative properties. The combination is indicated for the treatment of headache, dysmenorrhea, and insomnia. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development in China, with studies focusing on the pharmacokinetic profile and safety of single and multiple oral doses in healthy adults.
