Overview

P-680 is an investigational epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) blocker developed by Parion Sciences for the treatment of pulmonary diseases, particularly cystic fibrosis (CF). It works by inhibiting ENaC in airway epithelial cells to increase airway surface liquid volume, thereby improving mucociliary clearance and lung function in CF patients. In 2007, Parion Sciences licensed worldwide commercialization rights to Gilead Sciences to advance its development.
