Overview

P-ENVs (biomimetic platelet membrane-coated exosome-mimetic nanovesicles) are a novel therapeutic approach designed for the treatment of atherosclerosis. These nanovesicles are derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and are coated with a platelet membrane. The biomimetic design aims to enhance targeted delivery to atherosclerotic plaques, addressing challenges associated with large-scale production and organ-specific targeting of traditional MSC-derived exosomes. P-ENVs are being investigated for their targeted efficiency and therapeutic potential in atherosclerosis.
