Drug intelligence / Profile preview
P-GEMD is a combination chemotherapy regimen comprising pegaspargase, gemcitabine, etoposide, liposomal mitoxantrone hydrochloride, and dexamethasone. It is being investigated for the treatment of untreated early non-upper respiratory tract or advanced extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL), an aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The regimen aims to improve therapeutic efficacy and safety in patients with this challenging disease, particularly those with advanced-stage disease or early-stage non-upper aero-digestive tract involvement who frequently develop hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.
