Drug intelligence / Profile preview
P.Happi is a daily intimate serum containing B.Y.M. 1405, a live predatory bacterium (*Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus*). It represents a novel live biotherapeutic modality designed to support the female intimate microbiome by selectively targeting and reducing harmful Gram-negative bacteria, such as *Escherichia coli*, which are common causes of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and irritation. Unlike traditional antibiotics, this predatory bacterium preys specifically on Gram-negative pathogens while preserving beneficial *Lactobacilli*. The serum is applied topically to the external intimate area (vulva, labia, and perineum) to provide moisturizing care and maintain microbial balance during periods of hormonal shifts, stress, or after sexual activity. As of March 2024, the product is commercially available in the UK market.
