Overview

This is a combination therapy consisting of the P10s-PADRE vaccine with standard neoadjuvant chemotherapy drugs (cyclophosphamide, docetaxel, and doxorubicin) for the treatment of HR+/HER2- breast cancer. P10s-PADRE is a carbohydrate-mimetic peptide (CMP) vaccine designed to induce anti-tumor immune responses by targeting tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens. In clinical trials, this combination has shown to be safe and immunogenic, with the ability to elicit antibody responses, stimulate activation of natural killer (NK) cells, and increase tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in residual lesions. The most promising immunization schedule was found to be schedule C, where three weekly immunizations of P10s-PADRE preceded the first dose of chemotherapy.
