Overview

P134 is an innovative autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target both CD44 and CD133 antigens. Developed by Tasly Pharmaceutical Group in collaboration with the Beijing Neurosurgical Institute and Beijing Tiantan Hospital, it is specifically indicated for the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma (GBM), including IDH wild-type cases. The therapy's dual-targeting mechanism aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity by recognizing antigens that are highly and mutually exclusively expressed in primary and recurrent GBM. By binding to these targets, P134 cells are activated to eliminate tumor cells and exhibit prolonged T-cell lifespan. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials using intratumoral or intraventricular administration via an Ommaya reservoir.
