Overview

P30 is a novel small molecule identified through high-throughput fragment-based ligand discovery, primarily acting as an inhibitor of Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT). It has demonstrated selective and potent activity against small cell lung cancer (SCLC) cell lines. While its primary mechanism involves binding to the catalytic site of NAMPT, studies suggest P30 may also exert its effects through additional, as yet unidentified, targets, offering a potential therapeutic avenue for SCLC where NAMPT is an essential target.
