Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**P501-AS15** is an investigational GSK therapeutic cancer vaccine comprising recombinant CPC-P501 protein, a modified fusion form of the prostate-specific P501 antigen, formulated with the AS15 immunostimulant adjuvant system. It was evaluated as first-line immunotherapy for patients with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer with rising prostate-specific antigen after primary treatment. AS15 contains CpG 7909, monophosphoryl lipid A, QS-21, and liposomes, intended to enhance antigen-specific humoral and cellular immune responses against P501-expressing prostate cancer cells.
