Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PA-XP-102 is an investigational, tumor-targeted, radiotherapy-activated prodrug conjugate developed by Zhongke Shuaitian (PolyAdvant). It is designed to target Solute Carrier Family 2, Facilitated Glucose Transporter Member 1 (GLUT1), which is highly expressed in various cancer cells, to achieve tumor-targeted delivery. PA-XP-102 incorporates a radiation-responsive linker (such as an azo-based linker) that undergoes chemical transformation and cleavage upon exposure to ionizing radiation (such as X-rays, beta rays, or gamma rays) during radiotherapy. This selective activation triggers the localized release of its cytotoxic payload directly within the irradiated tumor microenvironment, minimizing systemic toxicity and achieving synergistic radiochemotherapy.
