Overview
PAC-1, also known as Procaspase Activating Compound-1, is a small molecule developed by Vanquish Oncology, Inc. It functions by activating procaspase-3 to caspase-3, which subsequently leads to apoptosis in cancer cells. This drug is currently under investigation for the treatment of advanced malignancies, including neuroendocrine tumors and high-grade glioma such as glioblastoma multiforme and anaplastic astrocytoma.
