Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of paclitaxel, epirubicin, and carboplatin. This regimen is primarily used for treating metastatic or recurrent endometrial carcinoma and has also been studied in advanced bladder cancer and metastatic breast cancer. The combination works through multiple mechanisms: paclitaxel stabilizes microtubules, epirubicin intercalates DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II, and carboplatin forms DNA crosslinks. The regimen typically requires G-CSF support to manage neutropenia.
