paclitaxel + ifosfamide + cisplatin + toripalimab

This drug is a combination therapy consisting of paclitaxel, ifosfamide, cisplatin (collectively known as the TIP regimen), and toripalimab. Paclitaxel is a microtubule inhibitor that disrupts cell division; ifosfamide is an alkylating agent that crosslinks DNA; cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that also crosslinks DNA and induces apoptosis. Toripalimab is a monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. This combination has been investigated primarily in neoadjuvant settings for high-risk, locally advanced penile squamous cell carcinoma, where it has demonstrated promising response rates and survival outcomes[9]. The addition of toripalimab aims to leverage both cytotoxic chemotherapy and immunotherapy mechanisms for synergistic anti-cancer effects.
