A combination therapy consisting of paclitaxel (a taxane chemotherapy), pertuzumab and trastuzumab (HER2-targeted monoclonal antibodies), and taselisib (a PI3K inhibitor). This regimen targets multiple pathways in HER2-positive breast cancer: paclitaxel disrupts cell division by stabilizing microtubules; pertuzumab and trastuzumab bind to different regions of the HER2 receptor to block signaling; and taselisib inhibits the PI3K pathway that promotes cancer cell growth. This combination has been investigated in clinical trials for patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer.
