Overview

Paclitaxel + tislelizumab is a combination therapy consisting of two distinct agents used in oncology. Paclitaxel is a small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules and inhibits cell division, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. Tislelizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) on T cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 ligands. This blockade releases the inhibition of T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells, enhancing anti-tumor immunity. The combination may be investigated or used for synergistic effects in various solid tumors.
