RMX3001 + DHP107 (brand name: Liporaxel) is an oral paclitaxel solution developed by Daehwa Pharmaceutical in partnership with Haihe Biopharma. It is formulated using Daehwa's proprietary lipid self-emulsifying drug delivery (DH-LASED) technology, which enables oral bioavailability of paclitaxel, a taxane chemotherapy agent that traditionally requires intravenous administration. By binding to beta-tubulin, paclitaxel stabilizes microtubules and inhibits cell division, leading to mitotic arrest and apoptosis. The drug is approved in South Korea and China for the second-line treatment of advanced, recurrent, or metastatic gastric cancer, and has demonstrated non-inferior efficacy and improved safety (with lower rates of peripheral neuropathy and hypersensitivity) compared to intravenous paclitaxel in Phase III trials for HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer.
