Overview

PADRE-Q11 is a peptide-based vaccine platform that combines PADRE (Pan HLA-DR reactive epitope), a universal CD4+ T-helper epitope, with Q11, a self-assembling peptide nanofiber system. PADRE is a synthetic peptide designed to bind to multiple HLA-DR molecules and stimulate CD4+ T-cell responses across different genetic backgrounds. The Q11 system provides a self-assembling nanofiber scaffold for antigen delivery. This combination enhances the immunogenicity of vaccine constructs by providing both helper T-cell stimulation and improved antigen presentation through the nanofiber structure. The platform has been investigated for cancer immunotherapy applications and other vaccine development purposes.
