When combined—especially as a complex or phytosome—the formulation aims to synergistically enhance hepatoprotection by improving silymarin’s absorption via phosphatidylcholine while leveraging paeoniflorin’s additional anti-inflammatory benefits. Such combinations are primarily developed to support or treat various forms of liver dysfunction.
