AbVacc's pan-influenza monoclonal antibody is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate designed to provide broad-spectrum protection against Influenza A viruses. The antibody is engineered to target highly conserved epitopes shared across both Group 1 and Group 2 Influenza A viruses. By binding to these conserved regions, the antibody aims to neutralize a wide array of seasonal strains as well as potentially pandemic threats, including highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). This approach is intended to overcome the limitations of current influenza treatments and vaccines that are often strain-specific and susceptible to viral mutation.
