The Pan-Salmonella vaccine is a quadrivalent vaccine candidate developed by the GSK Vaccines Institute for Global Health (GVGH) and GSK. It is designed to provide broad protection against the four most common serovars of Salmonella causing invasive disease: *Salmonella Typhi*, *Salmonella Paratyphi A*, *Salmonella Typhimurium*, and *Salmonella Enteritidis*. The vaccine utilizes Generalized Modules for Membrane Antigens (GMMA) technology, which involves outer membrane vesicles shed by genetically modified bacteria to present multiple antigens in a highly immunogenic format. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in Africa to address the high burden of typhoid fever and invasive non-typhoidal Salmonella (iNTS) infections.
