Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The pan-serotype dengue vaccine is a preclinical-stage therapeutic and prophylactic candidate developed by MindWalk Holdings (formerly ImmunoPrecise Antibodies). The program is designed to provide broad protection against all four serotypes of the dengue virus (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4) by targeting a highly conserved epitope on the envelope protein domain III (EDIII). This approach aims to elicit cross-reactive neutralizing antibodies, potentially overcoming the challenges of serotype-specific immunity and the risk of antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE), a common complication in dengue vaccine development. The program utilizes the HYFT computational platform for epitope prediction and has achieved in vivo proof-of-concept, currently advancing toward manufacturing stages.
