Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PAN006 is an mRNA-based therapeutic candidate developed by Pantherna Therapeutics for the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and COVID-19 pneumonia. The drug utilizes Pantherna's proprietary mRNA platform to target the Tie2 (TEK tyrosine kinase, endothelial) receptor. By modulating the Tie2/Angiopoietin-1 (Ang1) pathway, PAN006 aims to stabilize the vascular endothelium and reduce vascular leakage, which is a hallmark of severe pulmonary inflammation and respiratory failure. It is currently in preclinical development.
