Pancrecarb

Pancrecarb is a pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) developed by Digestive Care, Inc. for the treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), a condition frequently associated with cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, or surgical pancreatectomy. The product contains pancrelipase, a porcine-derived concentrate of essential digestive enzymes including lipase, amylase, and protease. Pancrecarb is uniquely formulated as enteric-coated microspheres that are bicarbonate-buffered.
