Overview

PANDA-VAC is a personalized, peptide-based therapeutic cancer vaccine designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells. It consists of up to 8 patient-specific immunogenic tumor peptides (neoantigens) that are unique to each individual's cancer. The approach is both personalized—tailored for each patient's tumor mutations—and adaptive, allowing updates as the tumor evolves. The peptides are administered subcutaneously, often in combination with an adjuvant such as poly-ICLC, which enhances immune activation. PANDA-VAC is being developed primarily for advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN), typically in combination with pembrolizumab[2][3][4][6][7].
