Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**panitumumab-IRDye800CW** is an investigational, systemically administered near-infrared fluorescence imaging agent consisting of the fully human anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody panitumumab covalently conjugated to IRDye800CW. It binds epidermal growth factor receptor on EGFR-expressing tumor cells and enables fluorescence-guided visualization of tumors, surgical margins, metastatic lymph nodes, and residual disease during surgery. It is being evaluated as an optical diagnostic agent in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, malignant glioma, and pediatric brain tumors; it is not an approved therapeutic formulation of panitumumab.
