The formulation typically utilizes a triple-action approach with three key active ingredients: nicotinamide (niacinamide), which provides anti-inflammatory properties; zinc PCA (Zincidone), which helps regulate sebum production; and an Anti-Bacterial Adhesive (ABA) technology (Defenskin) that prevents *Cutibacterium acnes* from adhering to skin cells.
