Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The PAR4 program at the Warren Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery (WCNDD) is focused on developing small molecule modulators of Protease-Activated Receptor 4 (PAR4). PAR4 is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a significant role in inflammatory signaling and platelet activation. The program is currently exploring the therapeutic potential of PAR4 modulation for treating neuroinflammation and chronic kidney disease (CKD). As of the latest reports, the program is in the hit-to-lead and lead optimization stages of preclinical development.
