Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cold-Fed (also known as Coldfed) is an over-the-counter combination small molecule drug developed and manufactured by Pharmedic Vietnam (Công ty cổ phần dược phẩm dược liệu Pharmedic). It contains two active ingredients: paracetamol (acetaminophen) and chlorpheniramine maleate. Paracetamol serves as an analgesic and antipyretic, providing relief from pain and fever, while chlorpheniramine maleate is a first-generation antihistamine that targets histamine H1 receptors to alleviate symptoms like runny nose and sneezing. The drug is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of the common cold, fever, headache, runny nose, joint pain, and muscle pain. It is typically available as a round yellow oral tablet.
