Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Panalife Night is a combination pharmaceutical product developed and manufactured by LIFEPharma, primarily indicated for the temporary relief of pain and fever associated with difficulty sleeping. The formulation consists of paracetamol (acetaminophen), which serves as an analgesic and antipyretic, and diphenhydramine hydrochloride, a first-generation antihistamine with potent sedative properties. Paracetamol works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, thereby elevating the pain threshold and reducing fever. Diphenhydramine acts as a competitive antagonist at the H1 receptor and crosses the blood-brain barrier to induce drowsiness, making the combination suitable for nighttime relief of symptoms such as headache, backache, or musculoskeletal pain that disrupts sleep.
