Overview
Parietaria judaica pollen depigmented polymerized extract is a chemically modified allergen immunotherapy (allergoid) developed by Laboratorios LETI for the treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and episodic allergic asthma. The product is derived from *Parietaria judaica* pollen, which is processed through acid treatment to remove pigments and then polymerized with glutaraldehyde. This chemical modification reduces the extract's allergenicity (IgE-binding capacity) while preserving its immunogenicity, allowing for a safer and more rapid subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) dosing schedule. It is marketed under the brand name Depigoid and has been evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials.
