PAS-001 (Porton Advanced)

PAS-001 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Porton Advanced. It is engineered to target NKG2D ligands (NKG2DL), which are stress-induced proteins frequently overexpressed on the surface of various solid tumors—including glioblastoma, colorectal cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma—but are typically absent or expressed at low levels in healthy tissues. By recognizing these ligands, PAS-001 mediates targeted T-cell activation and direct cytotoxicity against tumor cells. The therapy has received Investigational New Drug (IND) approval in China and is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development for the treatment of advanced solid malignancies.
